Antalya Airport to Every Resort: Distances & Drive Times

Published: 11 March 2026β€’6 min read

A practical, driver's-eye guide to how far each major Antalya resort sits from the airport and how long the transfer really takes.

When you book a holiday on the Turkish Riviera, the first practical question is almost always the same: how far is my hotel from Antalya Airport (AYT), and how long will the drive take? We do these runs every day, so here is the honest, distance-by-distance picture, the kind we would give a friend.

The close-in resorts (under 20 minutes)

If you are staying near the city, you are barely on the road before you arrive. Lara, with its long beach and big five-star hotels, is about 15 km / 20 min from the terminal. Kundu, the hotel strip just east of the airport, is even closer at roughly 13 km / 18 min. Antalya city centre and the old town of Kaleici sit about 13 km / 20 min away, though traffic through town can stretch that a little in summer.

These are the easiest transfers of all: bags in the boot, a short hop, and you are at reception while others are still queuing for a taxi.

Belek and the golf belt (about 35 minutes)

Belek, Turkey's golf and luxury-resort capital, is around 30 km / 35 min east of the airport on a fast, modern road. It is a comfortable, mostly motorway run, so even with clubs and extra luggage it stays quick and smooth.

Side and Kemer (around an hour)

Two very different directions, similar drive times. Side, with its Roman ruins and lively old town, is about 65 km / 75 min east. Kemer, tucked between the Taurus mountains and the sea to the west, is roughly 55 km / 55 min and gives you a genuinely beautiful coastal approach.

At this distance a private car really pays off: no shared-shuttle stops at five other hotels before yours.

The long-haul resorts (two hours or more)

Further out, the numbers climb. Alanya is about 125 km / 120 min east, a scenic but real two-hour drive. Heading west toward the Lycian coast, Kas is roughly 190 km / 180 min and Fethiye about 200 km / 195 min β€” long, winding, and worth doing in comfort with a driver who knows the road.

For these trips we always recommend a fixed price agreed in advance, so distance never becomes a surprise at the end.
