What to expect on the 35-minute drive to your Antalya holiday
The journey from Antalya Airport to Side covers approximately 65 kilometres along the Mediterranean coast. After collecting your luggage and meeting your driver at the arrivals hall, you will depart the airport onto the D400 highway heading east. The first section passes through the modern outskirts of Antalya, with shopping centers and residential developments visible from the motorway.
After passing the Belek junction (about 25 km from the airport), the landscape opens up into agricultural land. Depending on the season, you may see cotton fields, citrus groves, and the distinctive white-plastic greenhouses that produce much of Turkey's fresh produce. The Taurus Mountains provide a dramatic backdrop to the north, their peaks snow-capped in winter and spring.
The road continues east past Serik and towards the Manavgat district. Traffic on this stretch is generally light outside of Saturday changeover days, when many resort transfers happen simultaneously. Your driver knows the traffic patterns and will choose the optimal route. As you approach the Side peninsula, the terrain flattens and the sparkling Mediterranean comes into view.
Unlike public buses that drop you at Manavgat bus station — still 7 km from most Side hotels — your private transfer delivers you directly to your accommodation entrance. Whether you are staying at a beachfront resort in Kumkoy, a boutique hotel in Side Old Town, or a family resort in Titreyengol, the driver takes you to the exact address.
For the return journey, we recommend scheduling pickup 90 minutes before your flight departure time. Your driver will collect you from your hotel lobby and take you directly to the departures terminal at Antalya Airport.
